Transformation is our annual series of spiritual renewal services. It is our revival in the most literal sense--we aim to refresh and reawaken our faith, so that we have new energy and vitality to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

In September and October of 2009, we celebrated four evenings of Transformation 2009 by welcoming home four United Methodist clergy members of the Holston Conference who grew up in this congregation and community.

Don Thomas, the pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee led our service on Sunday, September 27.

Michelle Buckles, the pastor of Cherokee United Methodist Church in Johnson City, Tennessee, led us in worship on Wednesday, September 30.

David Graybeal, the pastor of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, was our guest leader for the service on Sunday, October 4.

John Graham, pastor of Laurel Springs, Mountain View, and Zion Hill United Methodist Churches here in Smyth County, led our service on Wednesday, October 7.
